Rivabellosa is the administrative center of the municipality of Ribera Baja in Álava.

The community came together to design and paint a mural based on shared history and values.

In order to maximize the level of participation part of the mural was painted on polytab by artists and community members. The artists then installed the mural on the facade of the sports center.

The mural commemorates the solar eclipse that occured in the area in 1860, when one of the first photographic images of an eclipse was captured by a group of international scientists led by Warren de Rue.
