The Smart en City project, which thanks to European funds is transforming old neighbourhoods through energy renovation, asked us to create a mural for the Errota Zaharra neighbourhood in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
The challenge was to create an image that transmits optimism and recognizes the history of the neighbourhood. The image conveys the values of complicity and unity, youth and action with reference to the old mill in the neighbourhood and the work of the rope makers of yesteryear.
The design was created in collaboration with the IDARTE art and design school in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
The mural was painted with KEIM silicate paint, with high resistance and durability.
